Waivers

Any person may apply to the EPA requesting that a time limit or information requirement set out in the HSNO Act be waived. The EPA may only grant a waiver application if it is satisfied that the applicant and any submitters consent to the waiver or any parties who have not consented to the waiver will not be unduly prejudiced by the waiver. The EPA may also reduce or extent a time limit on its own initiative. ²³⁵⁷
