Further submissions

After submissions close the local authority must prepare a summary of submissions and make this available to the public. 737

The following persons are able to make further submissions: 738

  • Any person representing a relevant aspect of the public interest
  • Any person that has an interest in the proposed policy statement or plan greater than the interest that the general public has
  • The local authority responsible for promulgating the policy statement or plan

A further submission can only support or oppose a submission. It cannot extend the scope of an original submission. 739
