Notification

A local authority must publicly notify a proposed policy statement or plan, if the standard Schedule 1 process is used. ⁷³⁴  Public notification requires publication of a summary notice in newspaper(s) circulating in the area over which the policy statement or plan applies (along with details of the website where all the information can be accessed) and publication of all information on a freely accessible website. ⁴⁴⁹⁶
