Review of a policy statement or plan

 A local authority may review a policy statement or plan at any time. However, a local authority must commence a review of a provision of a regional policy statement, a regional plan, or a district plan if the provision has not been considered by the local authority during the previous 10 years. ⁴⁵⁰³ A local authority may review all of its plan provisions at once, or a selection of provisions through a series of plan changes over time (“a rolling review”).
